The global market for instant-light charcoal—widely used in the premium Shisha, camping, and outdoor catering sectors—requires a sophisticated balance of chemical stability and thermal performance. Guoxin Machinery provides industrial-scale, integrated production lines that transform raw biomass into high-margin, fast-igniting briquettes. Our technology focuses on the precise integration of continuous pyrolysis and specialized additive infusion, ensuring a product that ignites within seconds while maintaining a long-lasting, smokeless burn.
In the B2B sector, profitability is driven by the chemical upgrade of raw materials and the resulting export value. Our systems are optimized to maximize fixed carbon while minimizing volatile matter.
| Parameter | Raw Biomass (Avg.) | Carbonized Instant-Light Charcoal |
| Fixed Carbon Content | 15% – 25% | 80% – 90% |
| Lower Heating Value | 3,200 – 4,000 kcal/kg | 7,000 – 7,600 kcal/kg |
| Ignition Speed | N/A | 3 – 5 Seconds (with accelerant) |
| Burn Duration | Rapid/Unstable | 60 – 90 Minutes (Tablet-dependent) |

Our production line utilizes a closed-loop system to ensure material purity and operational safety, particularly during the additive mixing and drying stages.
Raw biomass is processed in a Continuous Rotary Drum Furnace at a stable temperature range of 450 – 750°C . This oxygen-free pyrolysis stage is critical for removing impurities that cause smoke and odors, providing a clean carbon base for flammable additives.

The carbonized material is ground to < 1mm. In our high-torque mixers, the powder is blended with eco-friendly accelerants and starch-based binders. Guoxin provides proprietary formulas to ensure the accelerant is distributed homogeneously, preventing “misfires” or uneven ignition.

Unlike mechanical presses, we utilize Stainless Steel Hydraulic Molding Machines for flammable charcoal.
Molding Pressure: 20 – 60 Tons, ensuring high density (1.3g/cm^3) for long-distance transport stability.
Customization: Round tablets (33mm, 40 mm) or cube shapes for specialized retail markets.

Moisture is reduced to <3/% in a multi-stage rotary drum Dryer. This stage is temperature-monitored to ensure the charcoal is “dry-to-the-core” without reaching the ignition point of the flammable additives.
| Parameter | Specification / Requirement |
| Installed Power | 150 kW – 500 kW (Depending on automation level) |
| Operating Temperature | 450 – 750°C |
| Factory Area | 1,500 m² – 4,000 m² |
| Output Capacity | 500 kg/h – 5,000 kg/h (Finished product) |
| Automation | Full PLC integrated control with remote monitoring |

Q1: How do you ensure the flammable charcoal is safe for transport?
A: Our production process includes a stabilization phase during drying. By using high-pressure hydraulic molding, we ensure the accelerants are locked within the dense carbon structure, meeting international safety standards for chemical-impregnated charcoal.
Q2: Can this line produce standard Shisha charcoal as well?
A: Yes. By adjusting the mixing formula (removing the accelerant) and changing the molds on the hydraulic press, you can switch between Instant-Light and “Standard High-Purity” Shisha cubes.
Q3: What is the primary energy source for the carbonization furnace?
A: The system features syngas recycling. Once the furnace reaches 450°C the combustible gases produced during pyrolysis are purified and redirected to provide up to70/ of the heat required for the process.
Q4: How many operators are required for a 2 TPH line?
A: An automated Guoxin line typically requires 4 to 6 operators per shift, covering feeding, monitoring the PLC station, and final packaging.
