High-Capacity Continuous Carbonization Production Line
Guoxin’s Continuous Carbonization Production Line is engineered for high-volume biomass transformation. Unlike batch-style kilns, this integrated system operates on a gravity-fed or screw-fed continuous flow, ensuring that every particle—from coconut shells to rice husks—undergoes uniform thermal decomposition. It is the definitive solution for investors seeking an industrial-scale biochar or activated carbon precursor plant.
To maintain steady temperatures inside the retort, materials must be fed at a constant rate. Our line utilizes a specialized frequency-controlled conveyor and a seal-locking feeder to prevent oxygen from entering the system, which is critical for maintaining high-purity carbon output.
As material enters the first stage of the [Continuous Vertical Carbonization Furnace], residual moisture is evaporated using recycled heat. This stage ensures that the material is fully prepared for the high-intensity pyrolysis phase.
Within the core retort (350°C – 500°C), thermal decomposition occurs. The volatiles released during this stage are captured by the Syngas Recovery Unit, purified, and redirected back to the burners. This makes the production line nearly self-sustaining in terms of energy consumption.
A continuous line requires rapid discharge. Our system employs an indirect water-cooled screw conveyor, reducing the charcoal temperature from 400°C to below 40°C in minutes. This prevents spontaneous combustion and allows for immediate packaging or further processing.
Energy Self-Sufficiency: Once the initial temperature is reached, the system primarily runs on the gas generated by the material itself, drastically reducing OpEx.
Non-Stop 24/7 Operation: Designed for industrial duty cycles, eliminating the “cool-down and reload” downtime associated with batch kilns.
Environmental Compliance: Integrated with multi-stage dust collectors and gas scrubbers to ensure smokeless emissions that meet stringent environmental regulations.
High Carbon Purity: Constant temperature monitoring and controlled residence time ensure a fixed carbon content of 85% – 92%.
Q1: What materials are best suited for the continuous carbonization line?
A: This line is optimized for small-to-medium-sized biomass (<30mm), such as sawdust, rice husks, crushed coconut shells, and palm shells. For large timber logs, we recommend our [Hoisting Carbonization Furnace].
Q2: How much fuel is required to run the line?
A: External fuel (Gas/Diesel/Wood) is only required for the first 30-60 minutes. After the system starts producing syngas, the external fuel source can be significantly reduced or completely shut off.
Q3: Is the line fully automated?
A: Yes. The entire process—from feeding and temperature regulation to cooling and discharge—is managed via a centralized PLC control cabinet, requiring minimal manual labor
