Project Overview
On June 24, 2026, Guoxin Machinery conducted a successful automated workshop trial run of our industrial-grade hydraulic hookah charcoal briquette machine.
The primary engineering objective was to test the compression mechanics, geometric density, and ejection stability of processed coconut shell charcoal powder when molded into premium shisha cubes.
The complete material transformation sequence and machinery mechanics were documented on-site in the video.
The trial sequence followed a precise mechanical workflow to ensure high structural cohesion and uniform density without cracking:
The feedstock consists of high-purity, ultra-fine coconut shell charcoal powder. The raw char fines are pre-blended with a trace percentage of organic, food-grade binders (typically tapioca starch) to form a homogeneous, non-sticky paste with controlled moisture content.
The raw conditioned mixture is manually leveled and packed across a multi-cavity grid mold plate integrated into the heavy-duty press frame. This grid configuration dictates the precise square geometry of the final shisha cubes, ensuring uniform volumetric scaling per cycle.
An operator manages the processing sequence via a centralized industrial control console. Pushing the dual safety buttons activates the main vertical hydraulic cylinder. The ram descends with massive tonnage, forcing the air pockets out of the charcoal matrix and compacting the loose powder into ultra-dense structural blocks.

Upon structural dwell completion, the hydraulic ram retracts, and the lower mechanical ejector pins push the completed grid of hookah cubes cleanly out of the mold assembly.
