Trial Overview
Trial Date: September 23, 2026
Location: Guoxin Equipment Testing Workshop
Target Raw Material: Fine Anthracite Coal Powder / Coal Slime
Core Machinery: Wheel-Pan Edge Runner Mixer, Hydraulic Roller Briquette Press, Batch Drying Test Cabinet
Briquette Geometry: Pillow / Oval Shape (Goose-Egg Form)
Target Application: Industrial Boiler Fuel, Commercial Heating, Gasification Feedstock
Fine anthracite coal dust and coal washing slime generated during crushing, screening, and mining operations pose significant handling challenges:
Combustion Efficiency Loss: Fine coal powder blocks airflow when loaded directly into industrial boilers or gasifiers, leading to incomplete combustion and high carbon loss in ash.
Storage & Dust Pollution: Loose anthracite dust creates severe air pollution during transport and windage loss during outdoor storage.
Forming anthracite coal dust into dense, uniform pillow-shaped briquettes restores bed permeability in furnaces, prevents dust entrainment, and converts low-value coal fines into high-density commercial fuel.

The September 23 workshop testing validated a complete 4-step preparation, compaction, and drying evaluation process:
Anthracite Coal Dust ➔ Wheel-Pan Binder Kneading ➔ Hydraulic Roller Pressing ➔
Screening & Hand Inspection ➔ Thermal Drying Cabinet Test
Fine anthracite dust was loaded into a wheel-pan edge runner mixer. Liquid binder was added directly to the coal powder. The heavy grinding wheels kneaded the mixture to crush minor lumps, coat every coal particle uniformly, and develop necessary plasticity for pressing.
The conditioned coal mixture was discharged from the mixer and fed into the hopper of the compact Guoxin roller press. Synchronized counter-rotating rollers equipped with precision oval pockets compressed the powder under high pressure.
Freshly pressed pillow-shaped briquettes were discharged continuously onto a short belt conveyor. The briquettes passed across an inclined slatted chute that separated loose edge flash, allowing clean, intact briquettes to fall into collection trays. Manual inspection confirmed smooth surfaces, sharp mold seams, and high initial green strength.
Trays filled with green coal briquettes were transferred into a temperature-controlled drying cabinet. This step verifies the moisture reduction rate and final structural strength required for full-scale industrial continuous belt dryer sizing.
