Project Overview
Client Location: Canada
Trial Date: August 22, 2026
Raw Material: Shredded tree branches & forestry wood chips
Equipment Line: Guoxin Continuous Rotary Carbonization Furnace Line
Target Output: High-density Biochar / Industrial Wood Charcoal Flakes
Our Canadian client sought an industrial-scale, environmentally compliant solution to convert abundant forestry waste and tree branch shreds into high-value biochar. Key priorities for the Canadian market included:
Continuous 24/7 Processing: Transitioning from traditional batch kilns to a fully continuous, automated system.
Environmental Compliance: Flue gas purification and smokeless operation meeting North American emission standards.
Energy Self-Sufficiency: Utilizing volatile syngas produced during pyrolysis to heat the furnace, drastically reducing auxiliary fuel consumption.

On August 22, 2026, the client visited our workshop to witness a live material trial run using shredded tree branches.

Key Milestones Demonstrated During the Trial:
Automated Material Feeding: Shredded wood branches were loaded onto an inclined belt conveyor, maintaining a steady, regulated feed rate into the carbonization drum.
Precision PLC Smart Control: The entire pyrolysis process was managed via a Siemens PLC touchscreen console. Real-time sensor readouts monitored internal temperatures (~320°C–500°C zone ramp-up) and feed velocity to ensure consistent carbonization.
Syngas Recovery & Thermal Efficiency: As pyrolysis commenced, combustible gases generated inside the drum were redirected, purified, and ignited in the burner system. The visible flame demonstrated self-sustaining thermal recycling, eliminating smoke emissions.
Continuous Water-Cooled Discharge: Fully pyrolyzed biochar was evacuated through a sealed, water-cooled discharge screw auger, instantly lowering output temperatures to prevent spontaneous combustion.
The trial delivered immediate, high-grade biochar flakes directly from the cooling outlet:
| Performance Metric | Trial Observation & Result |
| Material Carbonization Rate | 100% uniform conversion; no unburnt wood cores |
| Ash Content | Minimal ash formation due to oxygen-free pyrolytic sealing |
| Physical Integrity | Retained original fiber structural integrity without crumbling to dust |
| Operation Mode | Smokeless combustion with active combustible gas flaring |
| Client Sign-Off Status | Approved — All operational and temperature parameters met specs |
High Yield & Efficiency: Continuous drum rotation ensures every wood chip receives uniform thermal radiation, maximizing carbon yield per ton of raw material.
Zero-Smoke Environmental Profile: Volatile gases are completely burned off rather than vented, fulfilling Canadian environmental regulations.
Turnkey Automation: Simple touch-panel control reduces labor requirements to basic feed supervision and packaging monitoring.
