On August 3, 2026, Guoxin Machinery’s engineering team successfully conducted a live workshop trial run of our automated Hydraulic Charcoal Powder Briquetting Line at our Zhengzhou manufacturing facility. The trial validated the complete pressing sequence—from binder-charcoal homogenization in a wheel muller mixer to high-tonnage hydraulic molding and real-time physical strength verification.

The tested machinery delivered uniform, high-density 25mm x 25mm shisha charcoal cubes with flawless surface finishes, razor-sharp edges, and exceptional cold-crushing strength.

1. Live Trial Run Execution & Processing Workflow

Hydraulic Charcoal Powder Briquetting Machine

The primary objective of this trial was to evaluate the structural integrity, molding precision, and mechanical strength of charcoal briquettes under continuous hydraulic compaction.

[High-Pressure Hydraulic Molding] ➔ [Mesh Belt Discharge] ➔ [On-Site Drop Test Verification]

Phase 1: High-Friction Wheel Muller Homogenization

Before pressing, the carbonized charcoal powder was fed into a heavy-duty Wheel Muller Mixer. The heavy rotating wheels applied combined compressive force and shear friction, thoroughly kneading the carbon powder with a 3%–5% natural binder paste. This step eliminated micro-air pockets and ensured every charcoal particle was evenly coated with binder.

Phase 2: Automated Hydraulic Molding & Precision Ejection

The homogenized carbon mixture was transferred into the hopper of the Hydraulic Charcoal Briquette Press.

  • High-Tonnage Compaction: Multi-cylinder hydraulic rams exerted intense, steady vertical pressure onto multi-cavity stainless steel molds.

  • Automated Ejection & Scraping: The system automatically ejected perfectly shaped charcoal cubes while integrated cleaning brushes cleared residual dust from the upper mold face.

  • Smooth Mesh Conveyance: The pressed cubes dropped uniformly onto a wire mesh conveyor belt, preventing edge damage during discharge.

Phase 3: Real-Time Structural Strength & Drop Test

To verify the structural density of the fresh (“green”) briquettes, our engineer performed a live drop test directly on the workshop concrete floor:

  • Test Result: The pressed charcoal cube was dropped from standing height (approx. 1.2 meters) onto hard concrete.

  • Observation: The briquette suffered zero cracks, zero breakage, and zero crumbling edges. Manual inspection confirmed high volumetric density, clean geometry, and high mechanical toughness required for long-distance transport and electric burner use.

2. Trial Line Engineering Specifications

The table below outlines the core equipment parameters validated during the August 3, 2026 workshop trial:

Equipment / Parameter Trial Line Engineering Specifications

Briquette Geometry 25mm x 25mm x 25mm Square Cubes (Custom shapes available)
Pressing Mechanism Heavy-duty hydraulic station with multi-cavity precision molds
Discharge System Automated brush-assisted mold cleaner + Wire mesh belt conveyor
Physical Performance Passed 1.2m concrete floor drop test with zero breakage / zero dusting

3. Commercial Advantages for Shisha & Charcoal Plant Operators

For global investors in shisha charcoal and biomass bio-coal manufacturing, this hydraulic briquetting system addresses key operational challenges:

  1. Elimination of Transit Breakage: Low-density or poorly pressed charcoal cubes crumble easily during overseas transport, leading to high rejection rates. Our high-pressure hydraulic molding guarantees superior Cold Crushing Strength (CCS).

  2. Superior Burner Durability: High density (> 1.3 g/cm³) prevents charcoal cubes from splitting or breaking apart when heated on electric shisha burners.

  3. Automated High Output: The integration of continuous wheel muller mixing, hydraulic pressing, and mesh conveyor discharge minimizes manual labor costs while ensuring consistent hourly output.
