End Product: Low-moisture, high-density compressed wood shaving bales (ideal for poultry/animal bedding & bio-fuel export)
1. Project Background & Commercial Need
Indonesia’s thriving timber processing and furniture manufacturing sectors generate massive volumes of loose wood shavings. However, uncompressed wet wood shavings present major operational hurdles for local processors:
Excessive Freight Costs: Loose wood shavings have extremely low bulk density, wasting cargo space and driving up transport overhead.
High Moisture & Mold Risk: Freshly shaved wood contains high moisture levels, leading to rot and bacterial growth if not dried before storage or export.
Market Demand for Premium Animal Bedding: Export markets and domestic poultry/livestock farms require dry, dust-reduced, uniformly compressed wood shaving bales in durable woven bags.
To capture this value, our client in East Java commissioned a complete Guoxin Drying & Baling Production Line to convert raw wood waste into commercially valuable bio-bales.
2. On-Site Production Workflow & Installation
On September 5, 2026, the complete processing line was successfully installed and tested at the client’s facility in East Java, demonstrating seamless integration from raw feeding to bagged output.
Heavy Equipment Positioning & Assembly: Utilizing forklifts inside the workshop, the heavy-duty rotary dryer drum, drive gear assembly, and cyclone separator were set up in sequence.
Continuous Thermal Moisture Reduction: Raw wood shavings were continuously conveyed into the rotating drying drum. Controlled hot air circulation lowered material moisture uniformly without scorching the delicate wood fibers.
Dust Separation & Cyclone Recovery: Dried wood shavings were separated via an inline cyclone discharge collector, maintaining a clean, dust-controlled workshop environment.
Hydraulic Compaction & Automated Bagging: The dried, fluffy shavings fed into the Hydraulic Wood Shavings Baler Press. High-pressure hydraulic rams compressed the material into dense, uniform blocks, discharging them directly into heavy-duty green woven sacks for immediate stacking and delivery.

4. Key Commercial Advantages Confirmed by the Client
Massive Freight Savings: Compacting loose wood shavings into high-density bagged bales reduces overall material volume by up to 70%, enabling maximum container payload utilization during export.
Consistent Bio-Bedding Quality: Uniform drum drying eliminates excess moisture and mold spores, meeting strict veterinary standards for agricultural bedding.
Turnkey Automation: Integrated mechanical handling requires minimal manual labor—operators simply fit bags onto the baler outlet and move finished sacks to storage.
